Palmetto Cottage at Destin Pointe Resort

Had a great time!
Came down with friends and family from 3 different states. Had a great time! Perfect weather. Perfect accommodations - loved the view and proximity to the bay and gulf. All three pools are great. The beds are extra comfy! Enjoyed meals on the deck. Caught lots of fish near the jetty. Enjoyed the fish rodeo off the upper floor of AJ's. Took a tour of the surrounding neighborhoods on the bikes, used the paddle boards and the kayaks (need lots of strength for kayaking due to currents), but it was fun. We will be back! Thank you!

Coziest Beach Cottage!
I stayed here with a group of friends for a week and we had the best time! The house was very clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay - comfy beds and a great living space we enjoyed hanging out in together. The kitchen had all the necessary items to cook from home, and the living room is connected to the main deck, which includes a nice dining table and grill for cooking and eating outside. We ate dinner outside and enjoyed the sunset most nights! Great location, too - just a short walk from the beach/pool, and the development is across the street from the grocery store. Our beach chairs were set up on our behalf every day, and the house came with kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, and bikes - we used all of them! Will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous clean upscale home
Fabulous clean upscale home in the heart of Destin with great access to the beach(s). The kids loved being able to ride bikes in the gated community and/or ride to the different pools/beach. Highly recommend this house for families with kids.

a wonderful time
We had a wonderful time at Palmetto Cottage. The grandkids and their parents loved having access to the bicycles and kayaks and beach toys! It is a bit longer walk to the beach than listed in the description, but really wasn’t a problem for them- just for me with a bad knee. We loved the view on the back deck and loved staying in Destin Pointe Resort. Thank you!

This Destin Pointe Cottage is perfect for family getaways.
This Destin Pointe Cottage is perfect for family getaways.  My family and I have enjoyed several trips and look forward to many more.  The Cottage is clean and beautifully decorated and so close to every amenity.  The Owners provided virtually everything we needed for a relaxing stay and walking distance to the beaches and pools, including the new infinity edge pool for guest use.  Hard to beat the Cottage IMHO.

This is a 5***** property, without a doubt! We will return!
We have stayed at Palmetto Cottage in Destin Pointe a handful of times over the past 5 years. Like always, it is a wonderful home and beach location. First of all, Destin Pointe is a great community. With the addition of the new infinity pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean, it is even better than ever. There are now 3 pools to choose from! New umbrellas and chairs on the beach are a great upgrade and we love the colors (and they are included in Palmetto Cottage's stays)! The cottage itself is amazing. It is clearly a well loved home, and so much care is taken to make sure everything is in top shape, clean and fresh. It is decorated wonderfully and very comfortable. Beautiful views from all the decks, especially from the living area and master suite! The sunsets are AMAZING! The kitchen is fun to cook in with a group of people. Lots of pots and pans, flatware, glassware and dishes. The mattresses in all the bedrooms are very comfortable. Standup paddleboards, kayaks, extra beach chairs are all provided. It is just a quick, 1 minute walk to the beach, and the home overlooks the wildlife refuge. This is a 5***** property, without a doubt! We will return!

Palmetto Cottage was perfect for our recent 4 day stay
The location of the house off the main artery for Destin is close to shopping and restaurants but when inside the community, it feels very far away which is lovely. The house's location on the lake is beautiful with wonderful morning and sunset views of the beach. The light flowing into the main living/kitchen and deck area is just wonderful - it was my favorite part. The beach is a very short walk and is nice and wide with the quintessential gulf white sands and blue water. We went in winter so we weren't swimming but we took chairs to the beach to watch the sunset and walked on the beach every day. We did take advantage of the community pool and hot tub! The house is well thought out and well designed. The kitchen had everything we could need. The beds were comfy with nice linens and towels. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

One of a Kind Beach House
The Palmetto Cottage is the perfect place to stay at the beach. The house is in a quiet, charming neighborhood off the beaten path. The house is in an ideal location in the neighborhood as it is close to the beach, bay and both pools so it's easy to paddle board, kayak, walk on the beach or ride bikes. Palmetto Cottage is lovely and perfectly appointed to make it a one of a kind beach house. The room setup and two back decks are awesome. The views are amazing all day long. This house really has everything! We can't wait to go back!
