Great week at Pelican Point
This is our return to Destin Pointe after a year trying out another location. Destin Pointe is undeniably the best spot on the panhandle. Secluded. Relaxed. And the best sunset!! The new infinity pool was a hit with the kids! Pelican Point is a great house with a great view. Never felt crowded with our crew of 13. And well appointed. Actually had kitchen supplies so we could prepare all our meals! We will be back next year (already booked).

Perfect Family Beach Vacation
Our week long stay at Pelican Pointe was all that we had hoped for. Our youngest is already begging us to come back to this house next year. The home was beautiful with perfect sunset views over the ocean each night, a few minutes walk from both the Gulf ocean beach and the Jetty beach access for younger children it was the perfect location. We had access to (3) private pools, one only a 1/2 block away. We weren't more than (10) minutes from most of the great location restaurants and attractions including the boardwalk, fishing, crab island tours, and the pirate cruse! We had the perfect fireworks view from our back porch twice during our trip as well. We plan to return to this location again!

This destination and property was wonderful! Great sunset views, plenty of space for our large family, beach access within a few steps, access to multiple pools, including one less than a block away, and all the amenities we needed to enjoy our time in this beautiful location. We would recommend this home and location for anyone, especially families! It has access to the Gulf waves as well as the calm ocean behind the Jetty, it has easy beach and pool access, wonderful views, and is in a wonderful neighborhood.

exceptional views!!
What a beautiful home with exceptional views!! I cannot say enough positives!!! But if you want any negatives I can scratch up: 1. Top King and bedroom does not have a closet. 2. Kitchen knives are dull. I brought my own. 3. Only 1 kitchen towel. I brought my own. 4. No cast iron. I brought my own. 5. Smoke detector in kitchen is Super sensitive- open doors for cross draft, worked. 6. Beach chairs are gulf side, but view is worth the walk- just be prepared. Bathrooms at beach pool are nice so no need to go back to house if prepared. Beach setup guys are super friendly and helpful!! Honestly, my family and absolutely loved this house and hated to leave. Im not great at “taking vacations” but I enjoyed every restful moment. I would book through the property next time and not VRBO. Destin Pointe was so incredibly wonderful- even when I had an accident and busted out my back window! They were so sweet and let the window replacement guy in with no issues. We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at this beach house during our family trip! The house was spotless and clearly well maintained-it felt fresh, comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Communication with the host was excellent. They were friendly, responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The bikes were a hit with the teenagers. The location was nice for all age groups-short walk to the Lagoon and a quick drive to unload to the Gulf beach.

We highly recommend Pelican Pointe!
We have been coming to Destin since 1983 and have been staying at Destin Pointe since 2000 in various houses. Pelican Pointe is an incredible home with unparalleled views of the Gulf, the Pass and the fireworks! The home is in great condition and well appointed. The elevator is a huge plus! We have stayed in several other houses on Rosalie Drive, but Pelican Pointe is definitely our number one choice. Destin Pointe Realty always does a great job managing the property and is always responsive if any issues arise. We highly recommend Pelican Pointe!

Beautiful beach home.
Pelican Pointe beach house is a premier stay at Destin Pointe gated resort. Our family of 11, including 3 toddler grandchildren, enjoyed our stay. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 with ensuites, an elevator, decorated beautifully and a very well supplied kitchen for cooking. The proximity to the jetty beach, which was great for children and the beautiful infinity pool and children's pool was wonderful. We even took to the free boat shuttle from the beach to Destin boardwalk. A family vacation to remember!

Brought my family of 10, including kids and grandkids under 6 years old. Was a perfect spot. House was ideal. Two great beaches. Three pools. Allowed us to enjoy a stress free week together. Room for all of us. Loved it!

One of the best places we've stayed.
One of the best places we've stayed. Actual accommodations were even better than pictures. View is absolutely incredible. House has quality furniture. Kitchen was well stocked. Had all the basics upon arrival (except no spices). If you're traveling with a family or multiple families, this is the place for you! House even included tons of toys for the beach!

Our families loved staying at Pelican Pointe!! The view was perfection. The kitchen had everything we could ever need. The appliances worked great! We were so grateful for the extra fridge in the bottom floor to have less stairs with the beach coolers. The wash off area was also great to use to track in less sand. The house comes with so many extra beach items like games and chairs. Very nice! The beds are comfortable and we very comfortably slept 9 here. Everyone had their own bathrooms! Our only regret is not seeing the fireworks nearby due to weather. The house and staff met our every expectation and need. The elevator works great but it’s not super spacious although for residential you wouldn’t expect big. We didn’t end up having our handicapped family member along but it would be hard to get her in with one other person. Overall this is an exceptional property and we want to come back next week and never leave!

Perfect Vacation Escape
The home and the property was beautiful. The home protects you from the East sun so we sat on the deck from morning until sunset. The Home owners thought of everything from board games, bikes, pickleball, beach bags.... The home is one of the best views on the property and I would recommend this home searching for the perfect get away. Very private and quite.

Pelican Pointe - May 2023
We have been coming to Destin Pointe for 24 years and most recently have been staying at Pelican Pointe. This was the first year we rented through Destin Point Vacation Rentals. The did a superb job - beginning with the booking process through the end of our stay. They were professional, organized, responsive and pleasant to work with throughout. The house had been recently renovated and the property managers did a great job in getting things ready for us. The weather was perfect - beach time every day, along with dinner out at the usual restaurants and fresh seafood from Desting Ice!

Seaside Sensation

My time at Pelican Pointe was unreal!
My time at Pelican Pointe was unreal, I’ve stayed in Destin for years and have never had a home that offers the views that this house did. The home as well as the views were immaculate, the owners did not miss a beat on the design of the home. I’d recommend this stay to anyone, by far the best house I’ve ever stayed in during all my trips to Destin.
